HURON, S.D. - 4-H members from across the state competed in various livestock shows during the 2008 South Dakota State Fair in Huron, S.D., Aug. 28 through Sept. 1.

Champion Cat Senior Showmanship - Taylor Geu, Clay County; Reserve - Megan Abraham, Lake County.

Champion Dog Senior Showmanship - Shaina Herding, Codington County; Reserve - MJ Ziebarth, Moody County.

  

Champion Poultry Senior Showmanship - Nichole Snyder, Moody County; Reserve - Silas Magilke, Grant County.

Champion Poultry Exhibit - Curt Gutormson, Brookings County, White Plymouth Rock Pullet; Reserve - Brooke Loecker, Yankton County, Splash Silky Pullet.

Champion Rabbit Senior Showmanship - Drew Sweeter, Lincoln County; Reserve - Ryan Effling, Deuel County.
